Hickory Hills Park (Located 12 Miles South of Waterloo, IA on V37)
Final Check In by 8:30AM

We will be playing 2 rounds of 24 holes in a Doubles Best Shot Format.
Added Cash For the Open Divisions

There is also a good chance of INNOVA sponsorship to help fatten the Booty.
Camping is Available at Hickory Hills Park. Contact the Park Office directly for cabins.
We will need some temp baskets so if you have 1 or 2 please bring them
If there are any fans of the sport out there not playing in the tourney we could use some good spotters.
If you have a Basket or would like to be a spotter please let me know as soon as possible.

Master Lee is planning a Singles Event on Sunday following HH2010.
It will be a scalled down version of the temp course...
Send in your HH Doubles 2010 registration soon and plan to stay the weekend!

Yeah! Hickory Hills Hangover singles is good to go. We will be playing 2 rounds of 12 to 14 holes. Primarily the permanent 9 plus a few new holes.
This will be a non-sanctioned event. With 3 divisions.
Good (int.),Better (adv) and Best (open)
Entry Fees
Good Division - $20
Better Division - $30
Best Division - $40
Trophies for top 3 in each division.
Sweet payouts added cash and all that good stuff.
Registration: Sunday (5/2) 8:30am - 10am at the Hickory Shelter.
Tee off- 10:30am
IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON CAMPING FRIDAY AND OR SATURDAY NIGHT. PLEASE FOLLOW THE PARK CAMPING RULES:
1 - Must pay for camping no later than 1 hour after putting up tent or camper. The park had problems with this last year and will be handing out tickets to those who do not pay for camping in a timely manner (I believe the fine is $85 ouch!)
2 - Be aware of other people using the park. If you are camped near non-discers the parks "quiet time" starts at 9:30pm. Usually the group camp sight is nothing but disc golfers so if you want to stay up later come hang out by our camp.
If the park has problems with discers this year, we may not be able to host this tournament again, and the park may pull the course entirely.
However, if things roll smoothly we will have the opportunity to work a re-design and possibly have a permanent 18 at Hickory.
So basically if we respect the park rules and other park users, We will not only be able to host this event each year but will have another sweet 18 holer in northern Iowa.  |

Registrations are coming in...please get yours in the mail today. 
Anyone up for a workday out at Hickory Hills this Saturday? The weather looks outstanding and we do have a few trees down on some normally open fairways.
We'll need to verify with Master Lee regarding how much and where we can work...but, we only have two weeks to go and the course does need some cleanup work.
I will be out there around 9am or so...hopefully listen for the chain saw.

I won't be able to make it until sometime in the afternoon. Some of the trees you noticed on the fairways I believe were chopped down by the park, it seems they had some ash boar problems. Most of those should be removed by the park. But we might have to check with Al.
Otherwise I was planning on walking the course and doing some trimming on Sat afternoon. We will set up some more work days Monday night at spring training. |

Sounds like we should go out there in the afternoon and find the Master Lee walking around.
Great news about the tree removal...bad news we lost the trees. I noticed the regular hole #5 has changed dramatically...bummer.

Check for both players name...sorry I couldn't figure out how to get the teams to list together...the list keeps sorting by last name.

instead of entering all their info you put both their last names in the first and last name column together and keep the pdga number column blank. This is how I do it ahead of time for j n b. Just keep all their real info on an extra spreadsheet that you can put in after the tourney. It's some extra work but whats a little extra work?
