course conditions

Hole #15. Pile gone. Thanks to Quality Care for loaning us the equipment to do it. Thanks to el Capitan for taking an hour to help me out! He's got a workday coming up at Sugar Bottom this Sunday if you are looking to do your good deed.
I rocked out 2 1/2 hours all day, and that won't even count chipping that pile up.

They hit that sleeve with the mower a while back (thats why the red pole insert thingy is bent). I thought it would hold after reburying it. Guess not after the rain. I'll move that back into the short position tomorrow morning. Thanks Pat!

I got rid of that atrocious gathering of beer bottles/cans by the red pad on hole 7 as well as the cluster on 14 red. Went around and picked up whatever I could see while I played a round, I probably missed some stuff. My bag got full on hole 14 so I packed it in. $1.65 richer! Maybe the closest I'll come to making money playing disc golf heh... let me know if someone wants to expand the retaining wall on 5 red and needs help. Same goes for installing new signs.

Thanks for cleaning it up out there. I emptied the garbage cans on 4 & 6 last week. Met a nice guy - Jamaic (don't know the spelling) who helped me schlep 2 railroad ties to 5's pad. Hopefully I can find some more time to finish that retaining area, but it won't be this weekend. I'll try to post when I'm going to work on it in case any of you can help.

Happy Thankgiving early Greg! Pins are long these days. I moved:
2. Long
4. Long
5. Short
6. Long
10. Long
11. Long
13. Long
16. Left
17. Right
18. Short

Today I clocked 5 hrs. Moving pins, but mostly trimming out the rough on hole 1. I cut a swath on the left side, about 15ft in, all the way down and around the rear, to give a reference to where your pooper drives go. I think I need to cut it wider to actually see it from the fairway. I whacked down a bunch of shnizz on the right as well, focusing near the path to 2, but went all the way down on the right as well. My gift to the chuckers.

Course looking great! I gotta say thanks to everyone who's putting in all the work, and thanks for moving the baskets around. This course is becoming one of my favorites. I was out yesterday and seen the progress but gotta go back today again and check out the new pin locations. Thanks again and see ya all out there.

Ha, thanks for moving pins Marty! I have been mostly sidelined lately by various circumstances, but looking forward to getting back out there and helping with some course work!

Widened my swath, left side of hole 1. Chainsawled the tree that fell over the path to 6Blue. Started a pile of logs to blockade the 6Red pad, and fortified my lean-to that blocks the hyzer path from 5Red. Went to 10's long pin and sawled up everything that came down. Moved all that aside as well as the logs from a tree I felled earlier this year 1/2 down the fairway.
3.25 hrs. Cheers!

My guess is that was some sort of cross country running thing. Hopefully its field paint and not permanent.

I cut out the bee tree on hole 6. Piled high near 7 red. Cut off some stumps on 4 & 6. Let's call it 1.5 hr.

Adding up scores after league... Greco-"Kerri, you shot 11 up" Kerri- "oh a 65 isn't bad" Greco-"that was the back nine"

Pads are all clear. Beachy, Greco and I cleared the blues today, and credit probably goes to Jack and Steve for the reds.
