At the Challenge I made 6 on the freak from a perfect drive and I thought that was a disaster...

Obviously you, sir, are no Grant Weaver.
I'm sorry that the middle of my sentence interrupted the beginning of yours.

was it a 10 Grant? I don't remember if you missed a putt to get 11 or made a 10....
Yeah that is right. I guess it was a 10.

So after Mr Weaver took down the BW crown last night, I am shocked that Whitson hasn't given his man crush a bump up the boards and resurrected this thread.

It's been a ling time coming for GW to put his name back on the IowaDG map. Sure enough in Grant fashion he pops up at Ewing dirty diaper in hand and finishes a respectable 2nd at one of Iowas most respectable tourneys. What the open field lacked in numbers it made up for in talent. But that didn't scare Mr. Weaver. Maybe you weren't surprised by GW's stellar finish. I know I wasn't, although I was surprised it wasn't at the Crack. Finishing runner up to a guy that nearly lost his hand less than 2 weeks ago had to send shock waves up the soap box derby hill large enough to flatten the track.
Better yet, coming off a BW record breaking performance. And ready to sit on a 3 peat for a 2 year hiatus. Tickles did not cruise to another Victory. Definately a weekend of story lines. I was unfortunate to have to miss it. Hope you all poured on for the Open.
