Snow play at Ewing

Postby MarkDSM » Sun Dec 30, 2012 12:47 pm

Myself and some buds will be out today noon to 3 or so.

Been out 5 times now since the big storm last week. Almost all front 9 as walking the back 9 is just a bit brutal even for me. Good times. Punched a hole and tied a neon pink string coming out the top of a DX Destroyer for driving. No real noticeable flight change. No loses for me. A bud on the other hand has scattered 4 naked discs about the course.

Happy holidays

Today's report:

Snow has lost the fluff in a lot of areas.
Easier to walk now that foot packed snow paths to the holes are more established.
Still very low traffic, only my partner and group seem to have been out
Second round played with three others and it did help much for disc spotting.

A snowmobile whipping around from about 12:30-1 Found this to be bullshit especially as he was flying through areas near the sledders. The younger lilacs do not need the abuse either. Called DSM PD and reported.

New Years day for sure for me.
