Agreed the pictures make it look way easier than it is. Its a lot of land to clear on the drive, then you have to make a big decision; try to hit the gap and clear the pond with a driver or just try to make the with a putter or mid (laying it up in the gap to the ponds edge is the smart play). Then its a rip and a prayer over the pond to the green. The skinny tall tree between the two pines on the other side of the pond snagged a lot of discs and dropped them straight down into the drink.

That hole is nearly impossible to 3, barring a 450 drive that you can land on an area the size of a tee pad. Maybe the Tern will get there for Fausch or Claring, but most of us will drive, throw upshot to the place where you can throw across the pond, then hopefully putt. I'll take a 4 on that hole all day, it just usually ends up being at least a 5 lol

1-800-Collect ..... Hole #11 758' par 4 Straight downhill
- Mikal had about a 50 ft chance at a deuce and decided to lay up for the easy 3 ..... I'm still a little bitter about not having the opportunity to witnessing one of the greatest 2's ever

The toughest holes for me were the Walnut #15 esk holes where my average shot was about 50'. Even when I tried to play it safe I still f'd it up.

That's one of the greatest things about that course. You can throw a perfect shot on every throw and you still face a risk reward on the next one.

it was about 60. What's fucked up is he threw his shot straight in to the woods on the left....oh wait now it bounces of a tree, starts to anny, and flies all the way down the fairway. Nice shot Matthew westmark

Ozark mountain is a lot like Boone. It sounds like a great idea and seems like a great course while you are sitting at home on the couch. Then you get there and its just not. Top 10 course? Really? I don't even know if it would be top 10 in Iowa. Don't get me wrong though, the atmosphere is great and the tournament is a lot of fun.

Edit: Oh yeah and its possible to actually die on the drive in. What a nightmare.

fn hilarious. T'Squared will. Here I am in Snowboard Pants, winter coat, stocking cap, long underwear, gloves, 2 pairs of wool socks, a sleeping bag, 2 blankets, and sheets sleeping on a blow up matress and I still got snot running down my nose. Wedged between my matress and the tent wall is Trent with a pillow and a bed sheet on the floor.

Just heard from Neils. I think we will need a sub for him. He's auditioning for Planes, Trains, and Automobiles Part Deux.

Was supposed to land in DSM at 4:30, delay 10mins, delay to 5:10, just sent a text they are unloading plane.

He could still make it, but looking Doubtful. Whitson you taken? Clue? Anyone else?
Calmer than you are.
