Im not a big fan of hockey, But I turned on the game last night night in the 3rd period with Philly down 3-2. That was a great game. I dont care who you are. Congrats Chi-Town. Atleast one of your teams is worth a damn...

What a series. Action packed, minimal commercials, very few penalties. These guys can skate.

The finish last night was awesome, the only guy who knew it was a goal was the guy who shot the puck.

I'm a Blues fan, and hate the Blackhawks on principle. However, that was the best Stanley Cup finals I've ever seen. The finals last year were awesome with Pittsburgh and Detroit. I couldn't believe anything could eclipse game 7 from that series, and then I saw game 6 last night.

What a game last night.

NHL is by far the most action packed professional sport.

whilst I agree that some of the Finals games are pretty good... Any sport that generally ends with at least one team having a score of Zero is not "action packed".

Agreed the NHL is the most action packed professional sport (I'm biased, by far my favorite sport), I've only missed handful of games this entire postseason (god bless the DVR).

However last nights game was a yawner. Sure it was fast paced and actioned packed, but a 8-1 game is rather boring. Games one and two were great intense games ...... in hockey its not all about the score.

And a Luongo standing on his head making saves is way more entertaining than a Luongo with his head in his ass.

After the hit in the 1st quarter, I couldn't wait for the last 7 minutes. Sure enough, face punch on the finger biter.

The fingers in the face taunting was hilarious.

Only rooting for the Bruins because I don't like Vancouver...for no real reason.

I not an NBA guy, but I'll have to admit thay I've been entertained this postseason. That being said I'm tired of all the NBA talk and have no clue how the Cubs thread keeps being revived, should of been dead long ago. So I'm reviving this thread for what looks to be the final game of an outstanding NHL playoff run and season. I'd love to extend my NHL viewing another week, but I'm guessing Jonathan "Con Smythe" Quick will shut the door to that possibility. This has been one of the most entertaining and physical Playoffs I've seen in recent memory and I'm going to be sad to see it end. Well I'm probably just talking to myself or maybe Jack ..... F it I'll just text him to chat. Anyone else who cares, thanks for being a fan of the best sport on earth. The rest of you piss off :P

This series has been fun to watch, Quick is pretty amazing and sort of unorthodox on how he defends the goal.

Now this is a forum I can get into. Played and coached youth hockey when I was younger. Great sport. Used to get to see Gretzky at the L.A. Forum for $45.00 a seat. Between the blue lines usually about row 7. Best money I ever spent. Still have a stub or two.. Cheap b4 1993 finals appearance. Had QC Flames season tickets for a year but refuse to pay that much for mallards seats. Can't wait for this season..

Blackhawks are 3-0-0 so far! They are my favorite but I really like them all. Have seen more Kings games than any other. Any game is a good game though. Have enjoyed 7-6 games and 1-0 overtime games with both goalies standing on their heads.
