Yep. But to be honest, when Im a little farther away then I prefer, I move my focus from the first chain left of the pole, to the pole itself...

We always knew your focus was on pole (and not the stripper kind either).

Had a bad putting day yesterday. Several putts on line hit basket 3" below rim. Today I made a frame of 2X6s to raise my basket 5 1/2". Have been practicing like that today. Good idea or bad? Any opinions?

I try to put my basket on at least a little bit of a slope (my yard is pretty flat) so I can practice putting toward different basket elevations, both uphill and down. I think its helping a little, but I need it to help a lot.

Tie a rope to the top of basket
throw rope over a high branch
hoist / PUTT
just like putting at shaVer

built this for six dollars earlier this year. Coincidentally my putting has dramatically improved lately.
