Deerwood status

Postby Tejay01 » Wed Jun 12, 2013 12:57 pm

I just walked through the course and most of the baskets, fareways and putting greens are still under water. The grass that wasn't under water is knee high and the mesquitos are worse than I've ever seen. Unless the water goes down I cant see us playin league there on monday. I will see if I can at least get #1 & #2 mowed but everything else isn't accecible with a mower. Ill post again this weekend on the status.

Well here comes the broken record. New flood warnings put cf and the loo above flood stage again this weekend, going back below on Sunday. I know they are closing deerwood park campgrounds again today.

I walked (more like ran) through dwood today and most of the water is gone except for some standing puddles in spots. #13 basket is still under water and will not be playable for a while. The mesquitos a terrible and that's puttung it lightly! I did get #1,2,9 and started 8 mowed before my mower broke down. In my opinion we shouldn't play league there this monday and let the course dry out and give me and the guys some time to get somen clean up,mowing and trimming done!
