I posted this before I saw all the scores. Hunter's provided exactly what we needed, a good challenge and playability.

As for next year, I would LOVE to play FInkbine, but I think the $55 green fee is counter-productive. We would lose players and I don't think this event should cater only to the best golfers. There were a grip of guys who played and hadn't picked up a club yet this year.
I think our two best options are:
Spring BSD at Amana the day before TPC Amana (IDEAL) or play at the Elk's CC in IC (we could play Penn or set a course up on the Elk's course). I think to play DG and BG on the same course would be awesome!!!!!!!!

I like both these ideas, and I completely agree with keeping prices as low as possible. The second you play somewhere with $50+ fees let alone a course that's too tough for most of the players, you are going to lose half of the field.

Just a suggestion..... Washington isn't too much farther from IC than CR. Sunset Park may be the best 9 holer in the state(in my top 3). I'm always a fan of "getting another shot" at golf courses, both ball and disc. With that in mind, the Washington CC(9) offers groupons that include 18 holes with cart for four players at $59. I will try to attend this event regardless of where it's played and what it costs. But if price and playability are concerns, then you should keep location out of the equation. IMO!!!

Can't wait til next event!!!

If we do 2 a year...Im gonna have to throw out TCI/ BC or Walnut during the Iowa/iowa state game again. Seriously, 25$ to play that beast...Gonna need about 30$ of balls, but still  There will be no one on the course, and you can listen to the game on the radio.

Probably gonna mention TCI like 5 more times before next year so we might as well just make it happen. Jus Sayin

I'd definitely play two a year, maybe have one in central Iowa and one in eastern Iowa. I'd love to play TCI/BC or Walnut as well and could care less about who wins the annual pillow fight between Iowa and ISU.

Clue, AO, TD, and I mentioned that with all the fun that this event has become, maybe we should put together a ball-golf weekend.

1 weekend, 4 rounds of golf, no discs.

It would be expensive for my boss's boss. Im going with Tyler, im vouching for TCI til the day this comes around again. Also to play the freaking blue tees wherever we play. You cant hit as far as me? Well it sucks when longer throwers than I can deuce/reach a hole I cant in disc golf too.

Whoever wants to should just play another round of ball golf from the longest tees (singles, time permitting) after the tournament next year.
