Rumble Stats for Middle.

I’m not sure what everyone else thought about the flow at Middle for new holes 3 – 6, but I liked it. I think there are some good possibilities regarding future pin placements for these holes. Here are the stats for those holes. I used the Open and Advanced Men for these statistics.

Hole 3: 42% Birdie or better, 50% par, 8% bogie or worse. Score average = 2.65
Hole 4: 18% Birdie or better, 66% par, 16% bogie or worse. Score average = 3.00
Hole 5: 54% Birdie or better, 42% par, 4% bogie or worse. Score average = 2.50
Hole 6: 19% Birdie or better, 47% par, 34% bogie or worse. Score average = 4.35

Thoughts:
You could easily stretch out hole 3 by placing it up the hill on the left. Three’s tee pad would need to be turned or redone in order to do so. I’d like to see something like a righty flick shot.

If I remember correctly, hole 4 has a pin placement that is in the vicinity of the bridge. I like that placement as it will allow the opportunity for a birdie but also bring the creek into play. The tee could be a bit shorter from my standpoint.

Another interesting pin placement could possibly be utilized for hole 5. The pin could be located to the left of where it is now and on the island created by the two ditches.

In my opinion, Hole 6 is the best of the new holes. It’s a tough par 4 as the stats have shown. It is not a kind hole to the lefties though.
