On a side note, I am sneaking closer to the 400 mark for squat and deadlift. Last set of squats this morning was 385 and the dead was 365. Hoping to hit the 400 mark on at least the squats by the end of the month. The deadlift might make it there too.

I go just a smidge past 90 degrees (A bum ankle doesn't allow me to go any further).

If anyone is interested they should check out Cross Fit. There are gyms in Des Moines, QC and Cedar Rapids. Tanner got me involved and I'm glad I went. You never do the same workout and you can pretty much go any time throughout the day. Daily workouts are never the same. Some days workouts are 8 minutes other days they are 35. You go at your own pace and work on your weaknesses. Workouts consist of cardio, core and strength training. You also have a daily personal trainer.

Awesome, dude! I just got myself a gym membership. Quite the upgrade from my olympic set at home. Already lost 8 pounds while keeping all my lifts same weight or more. I had forgotten how beneficial they really are; I hadn't been a member of one for over 3 years.

Hells yeah congrats. Thats a pretty ridiculous drop.

I'm not working out anymore, no damn time with my son being sick, but I'm the heaviest I have ever been in my life, which I know doesn't sound that positive, but I've always been the skinny kid. And I have been gaining quality mass through use, not just through heavy lifting. Its been great to be this in shape, now lets see how it tanslates on the course. Wonder where I could get BMI measured since I am no longer a member anywhere...

Still going 4ish days a week to Crossfit. Been going 14 months now. $1540 less in the bank account but I feel great and still have the desire to keep pushing on. I feel it's made life, work and dg much easier. At times my only gripe about it is I'm too sore and getting out of bed can be rough.

Also did a personal best of 335lbs dead lift today. Pretty sure I could have went 10lbs higher but I was almost passing out when I dropped the weight.
