Scoober or Scooby

Postby Kevin Bills » Sat Mar 21, 2009 2:02 am

I recently ran across the shot called a scooby or called scoober. just wondering if anyone has heard of this shot, or if anyone uses it. It seems pretty worthless.

I find it to be a nice shot. If I remember right you flip the disc over and use the back of the disc to glide across the ground.

I've only used this a couple times, but it helps for going under pine trees or other foliage/obstacles.

thats what some people say. That u just flip it over and throw it upside down. but then there is this one guy who says thats completely wrong. that you roll it down your arm. heres a link to the video.

Completely useless shot. Dont ever throw one in a competitive round.

I would not say that it is completely useless. The only times that I have found it anywhere near useful is at Waterloo Exchange Park on a couple holes. I would be about 15 feet away from the basket but there is a pine tree about 8 feet in front of me right in front of the basket. Only time it has been practical as of yet.

i belive a scooby is a two finger thrown upside down over the top side of your left shoulder (right side if your a lefty) i use it for alot of getting out of jail shots which i ve encountered alot this year it is also a great utility shot as well :? that scooby that mr 87 was throwing was just a roller imo
