I was at Turkey yesterday w/Kalupka....was very impressed with the new lay-out!!!!

The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it in...Hole 11!!! Wow, what a hole. Just standing on top of it trying to find the pin, then realizing where the pin was at, nice!! I took a 4 on it and was happy.

Alls I'm saying is that you boys have done a great thing with Turkey!!

Thank you!!! :D

On behalf of those who have put time and effort into the IC area courses, I would like to your welcome.

We're very proud of the courses that we have in the area and very thankful for the use of the land that these courses sit on (US Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Iowa City).

FWI -- Over the last four years the Iowa City Disc Golf League has:

Averaged around 500 volunteer hours per year

Installed 24 new disc golf holes (18 peninsula, 2 Turkey, 4 Sugar Bottom

Altered an additional 18 holes @ Turkey and Sugar

Installed putting area @ Sugar with 7 different pin locations and 2 baskets

Built 6 new bridges

I would give you more props, but you're doing a good job all by yourself.

You IC boys/girls have done a great job in your area for/with your courses!!! You should be proud of all your work.

Now that that is said, and your courses are in, you all can practice some and try to put a team together for the team event.
