Ice Bowl was Fun

Ice Bowl was Fun

Thanks to Tom, Ben, and Allison for another fun Ice Bowl. It was relatively warm with very little wind all day. There were over forty players. All the proceeds and cans of food went to the Food Bank of Southeastern Iowa.

Tom added five temporary holes. Pioneer Ridge is clearing off an area to build two more "for rent" cabins. When they get that done, Tom said he may get to add the rest needed for a full eighteen hole course. They already have an area off to the left when you come in that is open to the public for free camping. Just a heads up for anybody wanting to come in to play the three Ottumwa courses plus Bloomfield, Eldon, Fairfield, Oskaloosa, Eddyville, and Albia. All are within thirty miles or so of Pioneer Ridge.

Thanks again Tom, it was a lot of fun again.
