Just my 2 cents for Burr Oak.
1.) was fine. Short turn over.
2.) was a little tight and has some thorns on the left.
3.) is great. Good use of the big oak trees and clean fairway.
4.) Some of the Oaks could use some trimming. Ninja branches and would look sharp if the oaks were clean.
5.) Was solid and a fun long down hill shot.
6.) Cool and challenging long hole. Par 4. Maybe the tall grass could be out of bounds?
7.) One of my favorite holes. Throw through a tight gap over water to get to your 2nd shot. Fun and tough par four.
8.) says 306 ft in long but I walked of 146 paces. So more like 440ft
9.) tough and longer par 3.
10.) Longer par 4
11.) Down hill shorter wooded hyzer. Thorns were somewhat rough.
12.) Tough late righty anhyzer. Liked it
13.) was relatively open
14.) open and grass is mowed.
15.) seemed fair
16.) Shorter shot. May have to go over the trees to get to the long.
17.) tight fairway to get to the basket.
18.) Fun uphill right to left shot with ob creek on right.

I feel there was a pretty good mix of shots. The thorns are bad in spots and my legs are a little tore up. But that being said you can see they have put in a lot of work cleaning the course. The baskets were a little high and chains are maybe a little too light. Overall, the course was fun. Shot a 48. I paid $5 for the round. There was a RV there but was locked. Also outhouses on the course and scorecard/map was helpful. Great tee pads btw.

Went out to play this course on Monday night. What a property!!!! Huge old growth oak trees everywhere!!

I will echo what AO said: a little trimming needs to be done, but overall the course is pretty clean. Good use of the elevation available. I think a good score from the shorts will be 9-10 under. From the longs 5-7 under.

Just FYI, I started playing at 6:30 and it only took 6 holes before my feet were soaked. There will be lots of dew on the grass on Sat; bring a second pair of shoes.

The winner always does. Nice work TD.

Great course, but it was so windy on Sat. it was very difficult to putt. Never seen so many lay-ups from 50'.

Thanks Ron, Marty, Steve, and the rest of the Burr Oak crew!
